Ceramic vase, highly decorative on its own, and gorgeous with fresh flowers.

The vase holds water and can be washed by hand with a soft sponge and dishwashing soap.

About the series:

Shipwreck Vases draws inspiration from antique vessels discovered near underwater wrecks - objects once defined by human craftsmanship, now transformed by the sea. Over time, these manmade forms become encrusted with shells, barnacles, and coral, blurring the boundary between culture and nature.

In this series, I recreate that metamorphosis in clay. Each piece bears traces of erosion and growth, as if reclaimed by the ocean and reborn as something living. The works exist in a state of inbetween - where artifact becomes organism, and the line between human and natural creation dissolves.
